The Gathering
Big biomorphic sculptures symbolise curiosity gently bowing in a respectful gesture. Sculptures welcome visitors of the Chengdu Greenway
project and give space for enjoyment of green lawn and to hide from sun in the protecting shadow of a giant bow. Big sculptures take basic form
from biomorphic natural shapes, animal diversity and behaviour of sociable animals. Sculptures are as a group of creatures scattered around the lawn, every sculpture having its own space and direction to mingle with the visitors. The gathering is meant to symbolise also respectful meetings of people from all over the world also with the focus on friendly relationships between sister cities of Chengdu and Ljubljana.
