Izhajajoč
iz podmene, da belo ni nikoli povsem belo, ne glede na to v kar nas vztrajno
prepričujejo agresivni oglasi, kipar in multimedijski
umetnik Damijan Kracina skozi razstavo razmišlja o različni umazanosti
beline. Rdeča, morda tokrat bela, nit njegovega umetniškega ustvarjanja
je raziskovanje organskih oblik v kontekstu do različnih okolij.
Z
združitvijo umetniku ljube bele barve in biomorfnih oblik je ustvaril
video in vrsto belih ambientalnih postavitev z nenavadnimi bitji
v človeških intimnih prostorih.
Vsebino razstave sporočajo zaznamki:
belo - sneg - slonovina- wc -kopalnica - počutišče (welness) -
higiena. Toaletni kosi koketirajo z kvalitetno straniščno keramiko. Slonovina
je naprodaj in pripravljena za transport. Sneg je zaradi onesnaženega
ozračja
zanimivih odtenkov. Procesualnost
skiciranja hipergenetskih bitij nenavadnih oblin imenovanih bioone
nam razkrivajo animacije. Vse te beline se drži različna umazanija.

In spite of what aggressive advertising is trying to convince us,
the colour white is never completely white. This is the rationale
behind the exhibition of Kracina's works which explore different degrees
of whiteness. The main thread, white in this case, of Damijan Kracina's
art projects is research into organic forms in relation to different
environments. The multi-media
artist and a sculptor has
combined one of his favourite colours, white, and biomorphic forms
to create video works and a series of white installations with strange
creatures
in an intimate human environment.
The content is communicated through notes made on the pieces: white -
snow - ivory- toilet - bathroom -wellness - hygiene. Toiletries flirt
with high-quality
bathroom ceramics. Ivory is safely packed and still on sale. The snow
has acquired an interesting shade of colour due to air pollution. Animations
reveal the process of sketching hypergenetic creatures with peculiar
curves
called bioone. All these forms of white are covered
